MUST HAVE AT LEAST 1 YEAR OF EXPERIENCE IN LONG TERM CARE

Duties/Responsibilities

• Evaluates systems in facility to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.
• Plans work priorities, obtain necessary supplies, and assess skills needed to complete tasks.
• Assesses building systems to plan work assignments.
• Ensures maintenance and repair work is completely safely, effectively, in a timely manner, and in accordance with DHEC regulations.
• Tracks and logs, materials, and other resources used for inventory purposes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Extensive knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to identify issues and to determine repairs that are needed.
• Ability to plan maintenance schedules for building systems.

• Long term care facility experience required
