Overview

The maintenance associate role at Sam’s Club involves helping shape a member’s shopping experience by providing a positive first and last impression. You are responsible for maintaining a well-kept parking lot, clean restrooms, and clean floors. The position requires you to be on your feet and on the go, with a positive attitude to ensure customers have a great experience from start to finish.

What you’ll do

Maintains safety of the Facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including safety sweeps, forklift spotting procedures, and proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials. follows Company steel standard guidelines and reports unsafe situations to Management.

Cleans all areas of the Facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) per Company procedures, guidelines, methods, and using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment.

Ensures a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance as necessary, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of cardboard, plastic, and trash in line with the Company Environmental Sustainability Program.

Maintains appropriate levels of Company-approved chemicals and supplies, ensures rotation and proper storage of chemicals, and places orders to replenish supplies when low.

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in certain circumstances, up to $3.00 per hour. Premiums may depend on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
