We are looking for people who take pride in their work to join our team. As a Maintenance Associate at Sam’s Club, you are responsible for ensuring members see a well-kept parking lot, clean restrooms, and clean floors. This means you are constantly on your feet and on the go. However, maintaining a positive attitude will ensure customers have a great experience from start to finish.

Your responsibilities

• Maintains safety of Facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps, forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, following Company steel standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations to Management
• Cleans all areas of the Facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment
• Maintains a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance as necessary, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of cardboard, plastic, and trash per the Company Environmental Sustainability Program
• Maintains appropriate levels of Company-approved chemicals and supplies, rotates and stores chemicals properly, and places orders to replenish supplies when low

What you’ll do

• Ensure a safe and clean facility for Members and Associates
• Follow safety standards and procedures, including handling hazardous materials and proper disposal
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and perform daily maintenance tasks
• Support a positive first and last impression for customers

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in specific circumstances (e.g., schedule, facility, season).
