Job summary

flyExclusive is seeking a Maintenance Crew Lead to perform scheduled maintenance on aircraft and inspections in accordance with FAA requirements. The role leads technicians, estimates time and materials, and ensures mechanical systems are safe and flight-ready.

You will review manuals, diagnose issues from blueprints and reports, and maintain meticulous maintenance records while coordinating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced hangar environment.

Qualifications

  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant license required.
  • 3 years hands-on aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Strong leadership and supervision capability.
  • Proficient in MS Office and able to document records clearly.

Responsibilities

  • Perform regular maintenance on aircraft and inspections as required by FAA.
  • Lead maintenance crew, estimate work time and materials.
  • Analyze blueprints, drawings, and work orders to troubleshoot and repair.
  • Ensure aircraft systems are safe and ready for flight.

We offer competitive pay within the aviation industry, generous time off with flexible scheduling, a great benefits package including 401k matching, relocation assistance, and career growth opportunities!Job SummaryThe Maintenance Crew Lead must accurately repair and perform scheduled maintenance on all airplanes and inspections as required by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).Key ResponsibilitiesPerforms regular maintenance on aircraft.Project Management; accurately estimates work time and materials for assigned tasks.Fully analyzes all required blueprints, drawings, work orders and sketches to troubleshoot, repair and install desired product or part. Detects errors and corrects through proper departmental channels.Ensures proper working condition of mechanical systems before flight.Maintains records of maintenance, repairs, inspections, and any reports related to parts or services.Inspects and examines engines, wings, propellers, tails, and other parts to identify cracks, corrosion, or other defects.Inspects hoses and lubricates joints; replaces any that show signs of needing repair.Consults maintenance manuals and specifications to identify correct operations and specifications for replacements or repairs.Installs new parts to replace or repair defective or recalled parts or to enhance the performance of the aircraft;
