Job summary

EXCEL Group is seeking a Certified Crane Operator to join our team in Louisiana. The operator will handle a range of hydraulic cranes from 15 to 65 tons, read load charts, perform inspections, and maintain comprehensive records to support efficient manufacturing processes.

Strong candidates have 3+ years of experience, valid crane certification, and a demonstrated commitment to safety and teamwork in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Certified crane operator with ability to operate multiple crane types listed.
• Valid driver's license and operator certification.
• 3+ years of experience as an operator.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and maintaining safe work practices.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

The operator should be certified and have the

• Certification and ability to operate the following equipment, when required:
• Carry deck
• 15 ton hydraulic crane
• 18 ton hydraulic crane
• 35 ton hydraulic crane
• 50 ton hydraulic crane
• 65 ton hydraulic crane
• Friction rig
• Read and interpret load charts.
• Operate and monitor industrial machinery and equipment to facilitate the manufacturing process.
• Conduct routine inspections of machinery, identifying any malfunctions or irregularities.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, equipment maintenance, and process adjustments.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.
• Continuously monitor environmental conditions and practices, ensuring compliance with regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and operator certification.
• Proven experience as an operator. 3 or more years of experience preferred.
• Familiarity with operating and maintaining various types of machinery.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow operational procedures accurately.
• Effective communication skills to work within a team and relay important information.
• Physical fitness to perform tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
