Job summary

Turner Industries in Orange, TX is seeking a Maintenance Cost Specialist to support our Project Controls Team. You will analyze cost data for maintenance, turnarounds, and small capital projects to guide management decisions and ensure budget objectives are met.

Qualifications

• Two years cost control/analyst in industrial maintenance or outages.
• Four years cost specialist experience or BS degree in related field.
• Strong cost accounting knowledge and forecasting techniques.
• Proficient in JD Edwards and MS Office; SAP knowledge preferred.
• Excellent organizational, leadership and communication skills.
• Able to read/write English and work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage cost, general and cost accounting, and submit cost reports.
• Collaborate with project management to explain variances and impacts.
• Support maintenance, turnarounds, and capital projects as needed.
