Job summary

UGN Monroe in Ohio is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to oversee repairs, projects, preventive and predictive maintenance. The role will manage plant services, utilities, storeroom, and security, with the first shift (6:30am - 3pm).

You will help improve equipment and facility operations at a growing manufacturing site. Requirements include a BS degree and 5+ years in maintenance, preferably as a supervisor in manufacturing, plus strong electrical/mechanical skills and PLC experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college.
• 5+ years related experience and/or training in maintenance.
• Experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in a manufacturing plant.
• Strong electrical and hydraulic knowledge; ability to read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance of buildings, grounds, machinery and support equipment; plan all scheduled repairs.
• Supervise all Maintenance Shift Team Members.
• Supervise and manage storeroom operations.
• Direct all plant emergencies, including fires, storms, chemical spills, and major mechanical failures.
• Supervise and manage all machinery improvements.
• Develop and implement predictive maintenance.
• Develop and implement training programs.
• Institute Safety and E.I. Programs.
• Ensure timely, high-quality completion of maintenance projects and repairs.
• Maintain time and work order records.
• Assist other departments when necessary.
• Directly supervise Team Members in the Maintenance Department; handle hiring, training, and performance issues.
