Position Summary
The Penske Maintenance Coordinator manages inventory and administrative processes across branch locations to support maintenance operational efficiency, effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and profitability.

Work Schedule
Candidate must work a flexible schedule that may include weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
Shift Differentials
- Second shift ($2.00 starting after 11 am)
- Third shift ($3.00 starting after 9 pm)
- Weekend work ($2.00 Saturdays and Sundays regardless of start time)
Major Responsibilities
Inventory Productivity
- Full oversight of inventory productivity at branch(es) for timely service support while mitigating risk of inventory loss.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels by ordering parts according to sourcing procedures, ensuring defect‑free, on‑time deliveries through coordination with Centralized Parts Ordering.
- Receive and store parts in an organized, easily accessible manner; update PartsNet timely, conduct frequent cycle counts, and ensure parts availability.
- Manage new and used battery inventory and ensure tires are on hand in the correct quantity and specifications.
- Ensure warranty items are shipped and received on time, follow up on returns and warranty‑grams in partnership with the warranty department.
- Partner with Customer Service Coordinator to schedule repairs as parts become available.
- Provide vendor support and accountability, ensuring payments are processed correctly.
Process Analytics
- Perform process analyses and reviews in areas such as inventory, maintenance profitability, warranty campaigns, cycle counts, and RO reviews; investigate and recommend solutions to mitigate profitability risks.
- Utilize systems such as ServiceNet and AS400 to understand operational dynamics for problem solving and process improvement.
Other Responsibilities
- Support the branch financial manager by providing guidance and information that contributes to branch performance and profitability.
- Execute projects and tasks assigned by Branch Financial Manager and District Financial Manager.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred.
- Interpersonal and relationship‑building skills to collaborate with branch team members.
- Competent written and verbal communication skills.
- Minimum 2 years of customer service and operations experience required.
- Minimum 2 years of service and parts department experience preferred.
- Agile and quick learner who enjoys collaborative projects and continuous education.
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint required.
- Regular, predictable full attendance is an essential function of the job.
- Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location, complete the Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (past employment, education, and criminal history), and drug screening.
Physical Requirements
- Read, communicate verbally and/or in written form, remember and analyze information, and understand instructions or guidelines.
- Frequent standing, walking, and sitting; hands used to touch, handle, and feel; occasional lifting or moving up to 25 lb (12 kg).
