Overview

This role is essential to ensuring the seamless operation of maintenance processes. Responsibilities include overseeing parts and materials management, procurement, inventory control, and maintenance planning to support efficient and effective maintenance work. Serving as a key link between work requests and completed tasks, the role involves managing MRO purchases, optimizing labor scheduling, and ensuring compliance with ISO, Safety, and Environmental standards.

Responsibilities
  • Work Order Management: Convert work requests into work orders, schedule tasks, and coordinate with operations and maintenance teams.
  • Procurement & Inventory Control: Manage MRO parts and services procurement, maintain optimal inventory levels, and ensure accurate records in systems like eMaint and Coupa.
  • Maintenance Planning Support: Assist in developing preventive and predictive maintenance schedules, pre-kit parts for planned work, and expedite materials during emergencies.
  • Inventory Optimization: Perform physical inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, and remove obsolete inventory both physically and electronically.
  • Vendor Coordination: Work with suppliers to obtain quotes, track deliveries, and monitor vendor performance, including Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI).
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure proper chemical storage, adherence to SDS requirements, and maintain safety supplies for job execution.
  • Data & Reporting: Record and track work orders, generate reports, and maintain accurate equipment history in eMaint.
  • Project Coordination: Plan and detail maintenance projects, including special projects and shutdown activities, ensuring resource availability and efficient execution.
  • Storeroom Management: Organize, clean, and maintain the storeroom, ensuring it is well-stocked and optimized for quick access to parts and materials.
  • Collaboration: Maintain ongoing communication with Maintenance, Operations, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and efficiency.
Qualifications
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in industrial equipment parts inventory and/or maintenance organization.
  • Experience in supporting maintenance planning processes.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Excellent computer skills concentrated towards work management and inventory control.
What Makes You Unique
  • Experience with Coupa and eMaint.
  • Proficient in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
  • Experience with CMMS systems.
  • Experience with preventative and predictive maintenance.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and parts lists.
