Job summary

AdvanSix is seeking a Packout Maintenance Coordinator to partner with maintenance and reliability groups, driving equipment reliability through risk management and work management processes.

  • Coordinate inspections to ensure PSM/regulatory/ISO compliance.
  • Manage steam trap/leak program and lubrication schedules.
  • Support Area Q/P meetings and productivity initiatives.

Position Summary

The Packout Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for partnering with maintenance, reliability, and maintenance excellence groups to drive equipment reliability through the asset risk management process, reliability control plan implementation, and the maintenance/operations work management process.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Communicate, prioritize, and schedule scheduling Area maintenance needs
  • Create and manage Area work notifications in S4 Hana (SAP)
  • Coordinate capital contractor work with production and maintenance planning
  • Coordinate inspections and repairs to ensure Area PSM / regulatory / ISO compliance
  • Manage steam trap/leak program
  • Track equipment rotation and lubrication programs
  • Identify insulation priority needs (incl. winterization)
  • Participate in Area Q/P (Quality/Productive) meetings and support productivity initiatives
  • Communicate weekly maintenance and construction schedule to the Shift Leaders including any required permits
  • Responsible for production-related contract services coordination
  • Coordinate indirect material needs through Production Controls Coordinator
  • Ensure operations are within cost center budgets
  • Coordinate with the FLS (First Line Supervisor) to monitor work in progress and understand issues impacting the job
  • Assist Production Leaders and Shift Leaders in process troubleshooting
Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
  • 3 years of experience with maintenance coordination or planning
  • Experience working with circulating pumps, conveyors, elevators, and/or machinery operations
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in chemical manufacturing preferred
  • Strong skills in S4/HANA, Microsoft Office, and Production Loss Accounting Tools
Additional Qualifications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of an organization
  • Demonstrated ability to use influencing skills to accomplish goals and objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to generate and implement work process improvements
  • Able to manage multiple priorities
  • Knowledgeable in repair techniques for a broad application of equipment
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate repairs
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • Understanding of Maintenance Excellence Protocols
  • Knowledge of repair techniques for a broad application of equipment
  • Proficient in Six Sigma tools and Lean Concepts for business process improvement
  • Must be highly motivated, self-directed individual with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills

The base salary range for this position is $76,000 to $114,000 annually.

We offer a range of market-competitive total rewards that include periodic pay rate adjustments based on market competitiveness.
