Job summary

Maker's Pride in Romeoville is seeking a Controls Technician responsible for the development, testing, and implementation of programming and electrical controls. The role involves managing electrical system projects and providing troubleshooting and training for technicians.

Ideal candidates will have strong experience with VFDs and PLC Programming, as well as effective communication skills. Starting pay is $46.30/hr with benefits including health, dental, and 401k starting after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Electrical System knowledge including troubleshooting for high and low voltage.
• Experience with PLC Programming modifications and tuning adjustments.
• Effective multitasking abilities and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee electrical system projects.
• Provide troubleshooting for electrical and programming issues.
• Train technicians on electrical systems and programming.

Skills

Electrical System knowledge and experience with VFD(s) and Servos

Troubleshooting and modifying Electrical/PLC-GUI Programming/Controls

Ability to use laptop for troubleshooting PLC issues

Communication skills, verbal and written

Tools

AutoCAD for electrical schematic development
