Job summary

Flex-N-Gate is seeking a Controls Technician to install, calibrate and maintain automated industrial machinery. The role requires troubleshooting, retrofitting systems, and supporting start-up activities to ensure smooth operation and compliance with safety and quality standards.

The position involves testing, documentation, and continuous improvement of automation processes, with availability for 24/7 support as needed in an industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with testing, troubleshooting, and overseeing implementation of new processes.
• Install retrofits to existing systems and troubleshoot hardware, software, and instrument problems.
• Available for support calls 24/7.
• Install, diagnose and fix programmable logic controllers and other devices that operate automated equipment.

Job Duties

• The incumbent is responsible for the awareness, understanding, specific responsibilities and management of the Environmental Management System (EMS) as stated in EMS policy CEVPL.00005.
• The incumbent is responsible for the awareness, understanding, specific responsibilities and management of the Quality Management System (QMS) as stated in CQAM.00001 – Corporate Quality Manual.
