Harmons Grocery is seeking a diligent Maintenance/JANITORIAL associate to maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety across the store. You will plan cleaning tasks, train new maintenance staff, and assist customers and teammates with maintenance needs while delivering friendly service.

The role requires open availability, including weekends and holidays, adherence to policies, proper handling of cleaning chemicals, and regular safety walks to identify hazards.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED preferred; or any combination of education, experience, and training which provides the following knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Excellent organization and planning skills and solid communication abilities to interact with customers and associates.
• Ability to interpret policies and procedures and to work with integrity and teamwork.
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings, overnight, and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Ensures the cleanliness and sanitation of all areas throughout the store.
• Performs safety walks to identify and correct potential hazards.
• Assists customers and fellow associates with maintenance issues.
• Oversees deep cleaning in departments and creates effective cleaning plans.
• Mentors and trains maintenance associates and delivers excellent customer service.
