Job summary

ASRC Federal Facilities Logistics, LLC, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, seeks a Maintenance Carpenter to support our Prime NASA program at Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD. Under the Electrical Supervisor, you will perform carpentry, painting, masonry and sheet metal tasks to maintain, repair and replace structural components.

Responsibilities include responding to service calls, fabricating and installing counters and doors, glass installation, tile replacement, and reading blueprints

Qualifications

• Knowledge of standard carpentry practices, materials and tools.
• Ability to work with others and with little supervision.
• Able to climb ladders and scaffolds up to 4 ft.
• Experience with blueprints, drawings, or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, repairs and response to service calls.
• Builds, repairs, and installs counters, cabinets, floors, and doors.
• Installation of glass in windows, doors or partitions.
• Replacement of ceiling tile, floor tile and wall coverings.
• Use of saws, shaper and jointer and other trade equipment.
• Work from blueprints or drawings to complete repairs.
• Order correct materials for required jobs.
