Job summary

Teamprovide seeks a result-driven leader to oversee maintenance, expansions and capital projects at a chemical plant in Texas. You will guide planning through completion, manage budgets and contractors, and mentor maintenance and EIT staff while driving automation initiatives.

The role emphasizes safety around reactive chemicals, hands-on technical direction, and the growth of a small team as the facility expands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience in chemical manufacturing or similar process industry.
• Proven track record leading expansion and upgrade projects with scope, budget and schedule.
• Experience with flow meters, batching, reactors or similar process systems.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
• Strong safety focus around reactive chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance, expansion and capital improvement projects from planning through completion.
• Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, contractors and priorities.
• Provide hands-on direction to maintenance, electrical, EIT staff and contractors.
• Lead production-line upgrades, warehouse build, future expansion and automation initiatives.
• Troubleshoot and service equipment, safely dismantling pneumatic pumps.
• Uphold high safety standards around reactive chemicals and complex processes.
• Supervise two direct reports with potential for growth.
