Job summary

Husky Technologies is seeking a Maintenance Buyer for our Milton, VT campus. You will source parts, manage indirect spend, and ensure timely deliveries to keep maintenance teams responding to failures. The role emphasizes inventory accuracy, vendor performance, and collaboration with maintenance leadership.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in material handling.
• 3–5 years purchasing experience.
• 2–5 years inventory control/management.
• ERP or CMMS experience a plus.
• Strong written and verbal English.

Responsibilities

• Source parts with quality, availability and cost in mind.
• Maintain maintenance cost metrics and top spend; facilitate cost meetings.
• Place indirect material orders via requisitions and convert to POs.
• Monitor delivery times and vendor performance; manage discrepancies.
• Support Kaizen/5S and EH&S initiatives; assist maintenance leadership.
