Job summary

Ag Processing Inc is seeking a self-motivated maintenance technician to join our Mason City, IA team. This full-time role focuses on maintenance, repair, and replacement of plant equipment after diagnosing issues.

You’ll perform preventative maintenance, fabricate plant items, troubleshoot electrical issues, and help maintain sanitation standards. The position requires a HS diploma, 2+ years of mechanical experience, and on-call availability as needed.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in mechanical, construction, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of PSM, NFPA, OSHA, and EPA regulations.
• Ability to read and understand computer printouts and equipment specifications.
• Skilled in operating a forklift, bobcat, and end-loader.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with internal and external customers.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Able to be available for on-call status periodically (as needed).
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
