Job summary

AG Processing Inc (AGP) seeks a Maintenance Technician to join our team in David City, NE. This full-time role suits individuals with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoy troubleshooting and keeping plant equipment running efficiently.

Responsibilities include repairing or replacing equipment, performing preventative maintenance, fabricating items with metal/wood, and addressing electrical issues while maintaining sanitation standards. On-call status may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in mechanical, construction or equivalent.
• Knowledge of PSM, NFPA, OSHA, and EPA regulations
• Ability to read and understand computer printouts and equipment specifications
• Excellent oral and written communication with internal and external customers

Ag Processing Inc (AGP) is looking for a self-motivated, skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in David City, NE! This full-time role is a great opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude who enjoy troubleshooting and ensuring equipment runs efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Repair and/or replace broken or non-functioning equipment through analysis of problem and determining what materials/parts are needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Fabricate new plant items out of metal or wood using welder's torches, band saws, presses, and other tools.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and complete repairs when appropriate.
• Maintain plant sanitation standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in mechanical, construction or equivalent
• Knowledge of PSM, NFPA, OSHA, and EPA regulations
• Ability to read and understand computer printouts and equipment specifications
• Skilled in operating a forklift, bobcat and end-loader
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with internal and external customers
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Able to be available for on-call status periodically (as needed)
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
