Job summary

Duprey Hospitality is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Associate at Comfort Inn to support hotel maintenance operations and uphold top-quality standards. We are willing to train the right candidate!

Responsibilities include guest service, maintenance tasks across refrigeration, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, and equipment, ensuring on-time project completion, and assisting in safety and inspections. On-call and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Complete online safety training and use required safety gear.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test, background check, and driver record check.
• Requires walking and standing to a significant degree, reaching, handling, climbing (ladder), kneeling, crouching, stooping, talking, hearing, and seeing.
• Lifting to 80 lbs. max.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and courteous guest service at all times.
• Assist in maintenance operations for refrigeration, heating, plumbing, water softeners and treatment, A/C units, ice machines, lighting, kitchen equipment, emergency equipment/systems, switch rooms, roof exhausts, electrical substations, painting, and wall covering repairs.
• Ensure all projects are completed according to specifications and on time.
• Secure and maintain key inventory for all hotel locks.
• Responsible for telephone system, high-speed internet, movies, and cable.
• Assist and instruct craftsmen scheduling work, materials, and project completion.
• Maintain and participate in preventive maintenance program for guestrooms, public space, and all equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of grounds and attractiveness of landscaping.
• Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of workspace and storage areas.
• Available for on-call and weekend work as required.
• Adheres to safety requirements and attends safety training, complying with all OSHA, state, and federal guidelines.
• Assists in ensuring the building is prepared for city and state inspections.
• Ensures cleanliness and orderliness of all workspace and storage areas.
• Ability to work well with a diverse group of people.
