National Property Management Associates, Inc. is looking for a Maintenance Associate to support the upkeep of the Ridge at Tyler Apartments, ensuring the functionality of our 192-unit community. Key responsibilities include preparing units for occupancy, conducting maintenance tasks, and performing general upkeep.

The position offers a competitive salary of $20.00 per hour, with additional perks such as a 25% rent discount for onsite living and comprehensive benefits including health insurance and 401(k) options.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as maintenance associate.
• Strong working knowledge of general maintenance duties including drywalling and painting.
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices.
• Good physical condition and strength.

Responsibilities

• Prepare units for occupancy.
• Paint and complete make readies for occupancy.
• Perform daily trash pickup.
• Assist in general maintenance work as requested.
• Perform light checks.
• Conduct general upkeep procedures like landscaping.
• On call responsibilities as assigned.

Skills

Proven experience as maintenance associate

Strong working knowledge of general maintenance duties

Reports to: Property Manager & Lead Maintenance

Location: Tyler, TX

Units: 192

Salary: $20.00 per hour (Subject to adjustment for onsite living)

Summary: The Ridge at Tyler Apartments are looking for a Maintenance Associate to undertake the responsibility of upgrading & preserving the good condition and functionality of our 192-unit residential apartment community.

Responsibilities

• Prepare units for occupancy
• Paint and complete make readies for occupancy
• Perform daily trash pickup
• Assist in general maintenance work as requested
• Perform light checks
• Perform manual repairs when necessary
• Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g., landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.) and pool maintenance
• On call responsibilities as assigned by property manager
