Summary

The Maintenance Associate is responsible for ensuring the proper upkeep and maintenance of the campus facilities at Scheck Hillel Community School. • Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, overtime as needed

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, typically up to 50 pounds, such as equipment, tools, and supplies
• Frequent standing, walking, and moving throughout the campus for extended periods, often on uneven surfaces
• Ability to bend, squat, kneel, and crouch to perform repairs, and maintenance tasks
• Capability to climb ladders and scaffolding to access high areas for maintenance and repairs
• Endurance to perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday, which may include lifting, pushing, or pulling heavy items
• Good balance and coordination to safely navigate various work environments, including stairways and ladders
• Able to work in both indoor and outdoor environments for extended periods of time.
