Job summary

AUTOKINITON seeks a Maintenance Technician for its Meridian, MS facility. This full-time, 1st shift role supports the maintenance team with robot programming, control circuit troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs to keep production running smoothly.

Responsibilities include welding, motor work, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and PLC-based troubleshooting in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Journeyman card preferred and safety rules must be followed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Journeyman’s card preferred.
• Experience with mechanical presses is a plus.
• Must follow safety rules and procedures.
• Organized, self-starter in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manipulate and modify robot programs for production lines (Fanuc/ABB/Motoman).
• Troubleshoot and repair control circuits, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical breakdowns using PLC ladder logic.
• Remove and install motors as needed.
• Perform general shop and facility maintenance, including welding.
• Other duties as assigned.

This full-time role on 1 st shift is a part of our Maintenance team and reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Required experience:

• At least two years of experience performing the above listed duties in a Manufacturing environment.
• A journeyman’s card is preferred.
• Experience working on mechanical presses is preferred.
• Must follow all safety rules, procedures, and policies.
• Must be well organized, a self-starter, able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
