Job summary

Genesis Health Clubs is seeking a Maintenance Associate to help maintain the club’s property, including buildings, equipment, and related systems. Experience with Cardio equipment or Commercial HVAC is preferred, and candidates will respond to requests, identify hazards, and support safety protocols.

The role involves daily inspections, preventive maintenance, and collaboration with the Facilities Manager and Club Manager to ensure facilities operate smoothly and safely.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining buildings or facilities.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and basic electrical/mechanical repairs.
• Comfort with routine maintenance tasks and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect property daily to maintain club operations per standards.
• Perform regular and preventive maintenance and landscaping as needed.
• Collaborate with Facilities Manager and Club Manager daily.
• Document and address HVAC-related issues and other maintenance tasks.
• Handle other duties as required.
• Possess knowledge of general construction trades and mechanical maintenance.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for the maintenance of the Club’s property including but not limited to general facility maintenance, repair of buildings, construction projects, and equipment. Experience working on Cardio equipment and/or Commercial HVAC is preferred. The Maintenance Associate will respond to requests and concerns and identify unsafe and hazardous conditions.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect property on a daily basis to ensure building operations are performing according to the Club’s standards and procedures
• Performs all regular and preventive maintenance throughout the facility, and landscaping as needed
• Collaborate with Facilities Manager & Club Manager on a daily basis
• HVAC experience
• Other duties as required
• Knowledge of the general construction trades, mechanical repair and maintenance.
