Summary:

Performs routine maintenance and repair of residence, maintains the grounds and building's physical appearance, and ensures safety and structural integrity. Works with outside contractors as needed. Responsible for cleaning residents' rooms and common areas, including vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, polishing, mopping, disinfecting, etc. Discards waste properly, replaces light bulbs, and assists with general housekeeping and laundry duties as necessary.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:

1. Promote the mission and core values of the Residence and LCB Senior Living to residents, visitors, coworkers, and the community.
2. Actively participate in growing community occupancy by engaging positively with potential residents, families, and professionals.
3. Perform all duties with a positive attitude.
4. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residence equipment.
5. Ensure work areas are free of hazards.
6. Attend all required trainings and orientations.
7. Participate in the community's on-call program as directed.
8. Follow safety procedures and precautions during environmental services.
9. Replace burned-out light bulbs in various fixtures.
10. Serve as contact for vendors performing maintenance.
11. Use chemicals and equipment properly.
12. Distribute waste into proper containers and line trash receptacles.
13. Dispose of waste into facility dumpsters.
