Weinstein Properties in Cary, NC seeks a skilled Maintenance Assistant Supervisor to lead a service team responsible for grounds and building upkeep, inventory and timely repairs. You will supervise in-house and vendor work, share on-call duties, and ensure high occupancy through proactive maintenance.

The role requires strong trade skills across HVAC, electrical and plumbing, with at least 4 years of related experience and 2 years in a supervisory capacity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of trade-related experience
• At least 2 years in apartment maintenance supervisory role
• EPA/CFC Refrigerant certification required
• Hands-on HVAC repair experience
• Valid driver's license and transportation
• Ability to schedule and supervise in-house and vendor work

We are currently seeking a skilled & motivated Maintenance Assistant Supervisor in Cary, NC:

Location:

• Bexley at Triangle Park

In this role, you will be responsible to assist with managing and coordinating activities of a service team to ensure that all upkeep, inventory and repair of grounds and buildings of the property are completed in an efficient manner.

The maintenance team diagnoses problems and make repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, dry walling, exterior structural and appliances. You will also assist with scheduling and directly supervising all in-house and/or vendor work. You should be willing to share on-call with other team members.

This is a "working" lead role. The effective performance of our service team maximizes rents and maintains high occupancy levels by following professional maintenance practices, using quality control and following policies/procedures. Our service team is customer service driven which creates a lasting influence on visitors, prospects, and residents.

Compensation:

• Pay - starting at $25 per hour depending on experience
• On Call Bonus - $150 per week (calls or no calls) plus additional $150 per holiday on call bonus
• Quarterly Bonus – $1,110 potential (based on performance of property and team)
• Benefits - vacation & sick time, holiday pay, insurance, rent discount and 401K with company match

Requirements:

• Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 4 years trade related experience with at least 2 years of hands on apartment maintenance supervisory experience.
• Strong working knowledge of all aspects of building maintenance.
• EPA/CFC Refrigerant certification required (Type I and II or Universal).
• Hands on HVAC repair experience required
• Computer skills: use business software to assign and manage work orders, schedule turns, order supplies and communicate via email.
• Willing to share on-call with other team members.
• Valid driver's license, transportation and tools required.
• DMV and background/criminal check will be conducted.
