What We Offer:
Summary:
Performs routine maintenance and repairs of the residence, maintains the physical appearance of the grounds and building, and ensures the building's safety and soundness. Works with outside contractors as needed. Responsible for cleaning residents' rooms and common areas, including vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, polishing, mopping, disinfecting, etc. Discards waste into proper containers, replaces light bulbs, and assists with general housekeeping and laundry duties as necessary.
Qualifications:

b. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of maintenance functions and techniques, OSHA standards, fire codes, and safety regulations. Ability to organize maintenance needs and work with vendors and contractors.
c. Effective communication skills in English, both oral and written. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, bending, stooping, climbing, pushing, and stretching. Ability to move heavy furniture, equipment, and boxes.
d. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
e. Experience: Four or more years of maintenance experience, preferably in healthcare.
f. Certifications/Licenses: HVAC certification preferred. Valid driver's license required in the employed state.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:

2. Actively contribute to community occupancy by positively representing and interacting with potential residents, their families, and professionals.
3. Perform all duties with a positive attitude.
4. Conduct routine maintenance and repair of residence equipment.
5. Maintain a hazard-free work area.
6. Attend all required trainings and orientations.
7. Participate in the community on-call program as directed by management.
8. Follow all safety procedures and precautions during environmental services.
9. Replace burned-out light bulbs in exit signs, overhead lights, room call lights, exterior lights, etc.
10. Serve as contact person for vendors performing maintenance.
11. Use chemicals and equipment properly.
12. Discard waste into proper containers and re-line trash receptacles.
13. Dispose of waste in facility dumpsters.
