Job Overview :
The Maintenance Assistant is under the direction and guidance of maintenance mechanics, and helps repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as hydraulics, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production equipment.
Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Prior technical school education preferred and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have competent skills using a variety of tools.
• Able to work in a team environment and take direction.
Physical demands and work environment:
• Frequently required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl
• Ability to lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds
• Frequently exposure to cold and hot conditions (non-climate controlled)
• Frequently work near moving mechanical parts
• Continually work around chemicals
Pay: $20.33 - 23.92 / hour
