Job summary

EMBREY is seeking a Maintenance Assistant for the Residences at Grayson Heights in San Antonio, TX. You will support the Maintenance Supervisor and help keep buildings and amenities in excellent condition, addressing resident needs and executing routine tasks.

The role is full-time, hourly, with competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare and a 401(k) match. On-call availability and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• One year maintenance experience in property management or related field.
• Possession of minimum tools required.
• Ability to be available “on call” 24 hours, seven days a week.
• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain the property, buildings and equipment.
• Organize, prioritize and complete unit make-readies, service requests and general maintenance tasks.
• Ensure the grounds, buildings and units are fully functional, safe and attractive.
• Respond to emergency conditions before, during or after business hours.
• Maintain supplies, tools and equipment needed for maintenance and repairs.

Experience The EMBREY Way by joining our dynamic Property Management team as a Maintenance Assistant at Residences at Grayson Heights. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will maintain the buildings and ancillary/amenity areas along with assisting the Maintenance Supervisor in the operations of the Maintenance Department and meeting the needs of our residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain the property, buildings and equipment.
• Organize, prioritize and complete unit make-readies, service requests and general maintenance tasks.
• Ensure the grounds, buildings and units are fully functional, safe and attractive.
• Respond to emergency conditions before, during or after business hours.
• Maintain supplies, tools and equipment needed for maintenance and repairs.
