Job summary

Apploi in Altoona, PA is seeking a part-time Maintenance Assistant to support the Maintenance Director in keeping the Life Safety Code and physical plant in good working order. You will transport residents to appointments and activities, and assist with regulatory compliance and safety policies.

Must be a high school graduate, CPR certified or willing to obtain certification, and hold a valid (state) driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification required or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Maintenance Director to ensure Life Safety Code compliance and maintain the facility’s physical plant, equipment, grounds and utilities.
• Transport residents to and from appointments and activities, including emergency transports as directed.
• Follow all health, sanitary, infection control policies and community policies.
