Bethel Lutheran Home Madison SD is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to help with upkeep of facilities for seniors. The role includes preventive maintenance, repairs, lawn care, snow removal, and ensuring safety and security across the campus.

Here’s What You’ll Do

• Complete preventive maintenance, in compliance with regulatory standards, as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Complete daily repairs as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Assist with lawn care and snow removal
• Monitor security measures to protect property, residents, and staff.
• Participate in regulatory inspections and implement corrective actions as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Additional job duties as required

Requirements

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move for extended periods

Work Requirements

• Must pass a criminal background check

• Must follow infection prevention, sanitation, and safety protocols
• Willingness to take part in scheduled weekend/holiday on call rotations
