Atlantic Staffing Consultants is looking to hire a Maintenance Helper/Assistant Recycling Sorter for the Night Shift at a recycling facility in Raleigh, NC.

3rd Shift with lots of Overtime and Weekly Pay!

Duties of the Maintenance Helper/Assistant :

• Clean assigned areas by sweeping, raking, and picking up broken glass and loose debris or moving barrels, cans, and bins.
• Maintaining a tidy, organized, and hazard-free workplace.
• Assisting with routine maintenance. This may include cleaning fixtures, bearings, pits, and the baler, as well as sweeping floors and emptying trash bins.
• Sort and segregate recycled waste items (e.g., aluminum, plastic, paper) from incoming materials as needed.
• Deposit recoverable items safely and efficiently into appropriate chutes.
• Assist other employees on an as-needed basis with heavy or bulky items.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Inspect incoming loads for materials that are not recyclable; remove unacceptable items as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements of the Maintenance Helper/Assistant:

• Steel-toed shoes or boots are required.

• Ability to lift 25-65 lbs safely.

• Able to stand for long periods without a break.

• Willing to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Candidates with experience in waste management and warehouse operations are encouraged to apply. However, we will train motivated candidates with no prior experience.

Pay & Hours of the Maintenance Helper/Assistant:
6 PM - 6 AM (Night Shift)
Monday - Friday & Weekends as needed
(sometimes more if needed)
Schedule is subject to change
$13.66 per hour / Overtime Pay is twenty dollars and forty-nine cents per hour
