Job summary

The Technology & Manufacturing Association (TMA) in Addison, IL is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the Maintenance Manager with routine and corrective maintenance on production machinery and facilities. The role is full-time with first-shift hours and potential overtime based on production needs.

Applicants should have mechanical and electrical knowledge, strong communication, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical, carpentry and mechanical systems is preferred.
• Formal technical training or certification in industrial maintenance is preferred.
• Shop environment with PPE and safety rules; ability to lift up to 50 lb.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance on production equipment and facilities.
• Address routine and corrective maintenance and repairs to machinery.
• Inspects machinery and facilities and documents status.
• Adheres to safety, quality, and company policies.
• Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
