Summary:

Performs routine maintenance and repairs of the residence, maintains grounds and building appearance, and ensures safety and structural integrity. Works with outside contractors as needed. Responsible for cleaning residents' rooms and common areas, including vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, polishing, mopping, disinfecting, etc. Discards waste properly, replaces light bulbs, and assists with housekeeping and laundry duties as necessary.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Promote the mission and core values of the Residence and LCB Senior Living to residents, visitors, coworkers, and the community.
  2. Actively participate in community occupancy growth by engaging positively with potential residents, their families, and professionals.
  3. Perform all duties with a positive attitude.
  4. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on residence equipment.
  5. Maintain a hazard-free work area.
  6. Attend all required trainings and orientations.
  7. Participate in the community on-call program as assigned.
  8. Follow safety procedures and precautions during environmental services.
  9. Replace burned-out light bulbs in various fixtures and exit signs.
  10. Act as contact for vendors performing maintenance.
  11. Use chemicals and equipment properly.
  12. Manage waste disposal and trash receptacles.

Qualifications:
