The Maintenance Assistant maintains the physical functionality of the facility, including guest rooms, public spaces, and heart-of-the-house areas. Responsibilities include performing repairs and maintenance tasks such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC, and masonry. The role involves inspecting guestrooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas for needed and preventive maintenance, as well as recording and reporting completed repairs and items requiring further attention or room 'out of order'.
