Bear Mountain Healthcare at Worcester is a skilled nursing facility located in Worcester, MA, currently accepting applications for a full-time Maintenance Assistant.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS :

1. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
2. Experience in a Long Term Care Nursing Home setting.
3. Knowledge of general maintenance and operation of all equipment.
4. Ability to turn off main power supply, water supply, and gas supply to the facility.
5. Attention to detail in inspecting equipment and machinery.
6. Knowledge of Exposure Control Plan for Bloodborne Pathogens and Fire & Disaster Plan, and adherence to policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. Responsible for reports and required documentation.
2. Assist with the Preventative Maintenance program to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
3. Maintain all facility equipment in a safe and operational condition.
4. Maintain furnishings, grounds, plumbing, and electrical fixtures.
