Job summary

Country Club Rehab and Care in Warrensburg, MO is seeking a Maintenance Assistant / Floor Tech to maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment for residents and staff. The role combines building maintenance with floor care in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Responsibilities include general repairs, support of systems (HVAC, security, life safety, electrical, generator), and routine safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Healthcare facility maintenance experience preferred.
• General plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills beneficial.
• NFPA and Life Safety knowledge preferred.

Country Club Rehab and Care is looking for a Maintenance Assistant / Floor Tech to help maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment for our residents and staff. This dual role supports both building maintenance and floor care in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Responsibilities include:

• General building maintenance and repairs (doors, lights, paint patching, basic plumbing and electrical)
• Support of HVAC, security, fire, life safety, electrical, and generator systems
• Assist with NFPA and Life Safety compliance and routine maintenance scheduling
• Daily floor care including dust mopping, wet mopping, buffing, and cleaning walls, doors, and baseboards
• Maintain exterior entrances and surrounding areas
• Follow all safety and infection control procedures
• Report maintenance issues, hazards, accidents, or incidents per facility protocol
• Maintain resident confidentiality and respect resident rights
• Minimal travel to assist sister facilities in the Kansas City area

Qualifications:

• Healthcare facility maintenance experience preferred
