Job summary

Country Club Rehab and Care is seeking a Maintenance Assistant / Floor Tech in Warrensburg, MO to ensure a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment for residents and staff.

The role covers general building maintenance, floor care, and support of HVAC, security, fire and life safety systems in a healthcare setting, with light travel to sister facilities in the Kansas City area. Growth opportunities are available within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• General building maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills are expected.
• Knowledge of NFPA and Life Safety is a plus.
• Dependable, detail-oriented and able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs (doors, lights, patching, basic plumbing and electrical).
• Support HVAC, security, fire, life safety, electrical and generator systems.
• Assist with NFPA and Life Safety compliance and routine maintenance scheduling.
• Perform daily floor care including dust mopping, wet mopping, buffing, and cleaning walls, doors, and baseboards.
• Maintain exterior entrances and surrounding areas.
• Follow all safety and infection control procedures.
• Report maintenance issues, hazards, accidents, or incidents per facility protocol.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and respect resident rights.
• Minimal travel to assist sister facilities in the Kansas City area.

Responsibilities include:

• General building maintenance and repairs (doors, lights, paint patching, basic plumbing and electrical)
• Support of HVAC, security, fire, life safety, electrical, and generator systems
• Assist with NFPA and Life Safety compliance and routine maintenance scheduling
• Daily floor care including dust mopping, wet mopping, buffing, and cleaning walls, doors, and baseboards
• Maintain exterior entrances and surrounding areas
• Follow all safety and infection control procedures
