Compensation: Undisclosed

Education: High School

Description

Perform daily Environmental Services tasks according to established procedures, including sweeping, dusting, wet mopping, buffing, stripping wax on floors, unclogging toilets, cleaning handrails, vacuuming and shampooing carpets, moving beds, assisting with resident move-in and room changes, setting up programs, cleaning walls, baseboards, furniture, and removing trash throughout the center. Ensure all equipment is disinfected and work areas are clean, safe, and comfortable, with appropriate safety signage as needed. Follow universal precautions, infection control, fire safety, and sanitation procedures, and report hazards or incidents promptly.

Perform groundskeeping duties upon arrival and throughout the day, including trash collection from courtyards and potted plants, and maintaining the dumpster area. Patrol the building for blown light bulbs and replace them as needed, including night-lights, pathway, and exit bulbs.

Assist with program setup and takedown on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 2:00 pm, with takedown by 3:45 pm, unless otherwise scheduled. Coordinate with program staff for any special timing needs.

Pressure wash front walkways and courtyards three times a year or as needed, as determined by the Plant Operations Director. Complete work orders promptly and carry out any additional assignments in an organized manner. Return tools and equipment to their proper storage after use.
