Job summary

Bell Partners in Parker, CO is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to keep our community grounds clean and well-maintained. You will work under the Maintenance Manager to perform basic upkeep of the property, buildings, and outdoor spaces, ensuring safety and a tidy, welcoming environment.

The role requires at least 2 years of grounds keeping and landscaping experience in multi-family settings, some HVAC/EPA certification may be required, and the physical ability to lift up to 80 lbs, climb, bend,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in grounds keeping in a multi-family environment.
• 2+ years of experience in landscaping.
• HVAC/EPA certifications may be required in communities.
• Ability to walk, bend, reach, climb and lift up to 80 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the grounds of the assigned property.
• Maintain cleanliness outside each building and the grounds surrounding each building.
• Keep a uniform landscaped look by picking up debris around buildings and common areas.
• Clean gutters and perform basic maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Plant and tend to flowerbeds, trees, and shrubs; trim, mow lawns; apply fertilizer and insecticides.
• Follow safety procedures and use pest control equipment as needed.
• Clean vacated apartments as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
• Assist maintenance team in vacant units or with light work orders and punch lists.
• Shovel snow and spread salt on walkways when necessary.
• Maintain amenities in a clean and orderly manner.
