Job summary

Fountains of Tyler is seeking a Part-Time Maintenance Assistant to support a safe, comfortable environment for residents. Responsibilities include routine maintenance, minor repairs, and keeping the facility and grounds in safe, working order.

You will assist the Maintenance Supervisor and help ensure timely reporting of issues. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with HVAC, boilers, water systems and generators, plus a clear, team-oriented communication style and a strong safety

Qualifications

• Has experience with HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, washers and dryers, and emergency generators.
• Understands basic principles of preventive maintenance.
• Communicates clearly and works well within a team.
• Maintains a safety-focused, detail-oriented approach.
• Can adapt to changing facility needs and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks throughout the facility as assigned.
• Assist with minor repairs and upkeep of facility equipment and tools.
• Maintain the physical plant, grounds, and equipment in safe, working order.
• Support the Maintenance Supervisor in daily operations and preventative maintenance.
• Ensure a clean, hazard-free environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Report and respond to maintenance issues in a timely and effective manner.
