Job summary

Windsor Elmhaven Care center in Stockton, CA is hiring a Maintenance Assistant to support a clean, safe, and comfortable facility for residents and staff.

You will assist with operation, repair, and maintenance of boilers, compressors, generators, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, and other equipment in compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years’ experience in operation of boilers, compressors, generators, and mechanical systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring schematics, etc.
• Knowledgeable in building codes, safety regulations, and maintenance practices.
• Licensed in accordance with current applicable standards, codes, labor laws, etc.
• Ability to plan and carry out repair programs, new construction, and equipment installation.
• Ability to control and track direct spending and labor budgets.

As a Maintenance Assistant, you will support the Maintenance Department by ensuring that the facility environment is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner, following company policies and procedures.
