Job summary

Avir at Richland Hills seeks a Maintenance Assistant to join our team. Under the direction of the Maintenance Director, you will perform general maintenance tasks and support a clean, safe nursing home environment.

Responsibilities include lawn care, planting, minor repairs, interior maintenance such as painting and carpet cleaning, and snow removal. Prior maintenance and nursing home experience are preferred to help ensure high-quality care for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance tasks and a high standard of performance.
• Nursing home maintenance experience is preferred.

• Perform general maintenance tasks under the direction of the Maintenance Director.
• Cut lawn, trims, and edges; clean grounds and remove litter.
• Plant grass, flowers, trees and shrubs; water landscape.
• Make minor repairs to equipment; interior maintenance such as painting and carpet cleaning.

We are seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our team! Assist with and perform general maintenance tasks under the direction of the Maintenance Director.

Responsibilities:

• Plants grass, flowers, trees, and shrubs. Waters lawn, shrubs, and flowers.

• Make minor repairs to equipment. Complete interior maintenance such as painting, carpet cleaning, and wall repair.

• Shovel snow from walks and driveways. Spread salt on public passageways to prevent ice build-up.

Qualifications:

• Previous maintenance experience preferred

• Previous nursing home experience preferred
