ImageFIRST Healthcare Laundry Specialists is hiring a Maintenance Assistant to support maintenance and repair of facility machinery. The role includes learning PLC programming, assisting with installations, and performing daily upkeep to ensure smooth production.

You will work with cross-functional teams to maintain safety and equipment reliability. The job offers a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional Saturdays, and a pay rate of $20.00–$25.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Familiar with HVAC, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic systems, plumbing, carpentry, piping and PLC programming.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Manual dexterity for operating machinery and computers.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our growing company!

Shift: Monday - Friday Occasionally Saturday

Pay: $20.00-$25.00/hour

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with the installation of facility machinery parts
• Assist with the performance of preventative and predictive maintenance on facility machinery
• Move product as needed to facilitate production processes
• Assist with and learn to troubleshoot and repair facility machinery
• Learn and assist with the program of PLC's
• Assist with the ordering of tools and machinery parts
• Complete daily maintenance and repair logs
• Communicate with operators and management
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them
• Gather and empty trash
• Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use
• Daily equipment upkeep/safety inspections
• Responsible for communicating with other departments to assist with production
• Associate will be crossed trained in multiple areas to help as needed
• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent
• Familiar with one or more of the following areas: HVAC, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic systems, plumbing, carpentry, piping systems, and PLC programming
• Ability to learn to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds required
