Job summary

The Rehabilitation Center of Orlando is seeking a reliable Maintenance Assistant to join our team in Orlando, FL. You will support the Maintenance Director in keeping the facility safe, clean, and well-maintained for residents, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily operations, performing routine repairs, maintaining HVAC and life-safety systems, and upholding high standards of safety and sanitation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in healthcare or similar environment.
• Ability to work independently while following direction and feedback.
• Knowledge of basic repairs and facility maintenance.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new maintenance practices.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety, sanitation, and organization.
