Job summary

Ebenezer is seeking a maintenance professional to support Amira Choice Minnetonka in Minnesota. The role covers repairs and upkeep of the building and grounds, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, with attention to safety and cleanliness.

Eligible candidates will have at least 1 year of relevant experience, a valid driver's license, and prefer a High School Diploma or GED. The position may involve assisting with resident turnover and basic housekeeping tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a relevant field.
• Experience with mechanical (HVAC), plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintains the physical structure and grounds.
• Repair items found deficient by maintenance or work orders.
• Change filters and check belts on air handling units.
• Check kitchen equipment.
• Grease, check belts and oils on laundry equipment.
• Help in housekeeping as requested.
• Assist with moving boxes, furniture, etc.
• Maintain shop in a clean and orderly manner.
• Remove snow from sidewalks and walkways and apply ice melt on sidewalks as needed.
• Trim around bushes, trees, and sidewalks.
• Remove debris and downed palm fronds where applicable.
• Keep grounds safe and looking neat and attractive.
• Process work orders and perform other duties as assigned.
• Assist with turnover of apartments for new residents.

Opened in 2018, Amira Choice Minnetonka is a 100 unit community that offers Independent and Assisted Living as well as Memory Care and Care Suites. Our location is near Ridgedale Mall, St Louis Park, and Highways 394 and 494, with access to public transportation.
