Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Maintenance Assistant to join our maintenance team. This entry-level position is designed for individuals looking to gain experience in facility maintenance. Under the guidance of experienced maintenance personnel, you will provide support in performing small repairs, assisting with maintenance tasks, and ensuring a safe and functional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the maintenance team with routine inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Perform minor repairs, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks, under supervision.
• Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools.
• Respond to maintenance requests and help address issues promptly.
• Assist in the inventory management of maintenance supplies and notify supervisors when stock is low.
• Participate in training sessions to learn maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
• Document maintenance activities and report any significant issues to senior staff.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance practices is a plus, but no prior experience is required; training will be provided.
• Strong willingness to learn and take direction from senior team members.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving equipment.
