East Cobb Center for Nursing and Healing, a 117-bed skilled nursing facility located at 4360 Johnson Ferry Pl, Marietta, GA 30068, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a safe, comfortable, and well-kept environment for our residents and staff.

We are looking for candidates with a hands-on background in general maintenance, carpentry, light electrical work, flooring installation, and preventive upkeep. Experience in plumbing and HVAC is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance and light repairs throughout the facility
• Complete routine painting, patching, and wall repair work
• Assist with carpentry projects including installation and finish work
• Support tradespeople with electrical, plumbing, or HVAC tasks
• Repair equipment and appliances as needed
• Monitor and report maintenance concerns proactively
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks and safety checks
• Handle other duties as assigned
