Job summary

Heritage Green Assisted Living in Lynchburg, VA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our community safe, comfortable, and welcoming for seniors. You’ll perform routine upkeep of the residence, grounds, and building, while following safety procedures.

This role offers on-demand pay, a positive work environment, and a benefits package including PTO and health coverage. Weekend availability is required on a rotating basis.

Qualifications

• Must have passion for helping seniors.
• Desire to contribute to a positive atmosphere in community for residents, family & friends, and all team members.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (oral and written).
• Ability to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance and repair of residence, maintaining physical appearance of the grounds and building as well as ensuring that the building is physically sound and safe.
• Follows all established safety procedures and precautions when performing maintenance service.
• Maintains preventive maintenance schedules.
• Assists with ordering and maintaining proper inventory levels of maintenance supplies.
• May act as contact person for vendors performing maintenance jobs.
