Job description

Responsible for maintaining the facility and providing a safe functional, sanitary and comfortable environment by assuring that the ventilation, fresh air, electrical and mechanical systems, water supply, and sewage disposal are maintained in accordance with recognized safety standards, state/federal codes and local ordinances meeting the standards and philosophy of the facility and policies/procedures that govern the facility.

Job Responsibilities and duties:

Maintain and equip the facility to provide a safe, functional, sanitary and comfortable environment.

Maintain the heating, cooling, plumbing, water supply and sewage disposal, electrical and mechanical systems, carpentry, painting, plastering, refinishing and similar repairs.

Drive when requested to pick up mail, parts, donations, etc.

Conduct periodic facility inspections assuring that the facility is structurally sound equipped and maintained to ensure the safety of residents.
