Job summary

Avalon Village, operated by American Senior Communities, is seeking a part-time Maintenance Assistant to support the Maintenance Supervisor. You will assist in maintaining the community’s physical plant and grounds, helping ensure a safe and attractive environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

The role emphasizes teamwork, dependability, and a caring presence, with opportunities to contribute to a high-quality living experience for seniors in Indiana.

Qualifications

Part-Time

The Maintenance Assistant assists the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the community’s physical plant and grounds ensuring a safe, attractive and enjoyable living environment for our residents, staff and the public.

Requirements

• Prior maintenance experience preferred - drywall, plumbing, painting.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
